# Roster

> Configure your roster and department members.

## Add to Roster

Selecting **Add to Roster** in the top right of the roster allows you to add users as a member or admin.

### Role

#### Member

Users added as a member are given member-level permissions. These can be configured via the [permissions](/miscellaneous/permissions) page.

#### Admin

Users added as an admin are given admin-level permissions. These can be configured via the [permissions](/miscellaneous/permissions) page.

### Discord ID

The Discord ID is a unique identifier for all users on Discord. To get a user's ID, first enable developer mode. Then, right click or long press (depending on device) a user's mention or profile picture and select **Copy User ID**.

### Name

The name is the name which will appear on the roster. It is only visible on the roster, users are not shown this when logging into the MDT.

## Configure

Configure allows you to select access to departments and divisions, set global callsigns, and set callsigns for a division or department.

### Global Callsign

The global callsign is the default callsign which users are locked into if the department they enter does not have a set callsign.

### Department Access

Department access toggles a user's ability to join the MDT under that department. By default, users are given access to all departments.

#### Department Callsign

When entered, the department callsign sets a user's callsign to what is entered in this field. Leave the field blank for a user's global callsign to be used.

### Division Access

Division access toggles a user's ability to join the MDT under that division By default, users are not given access to any divisions.

#### Division Callsign

When entered, the division callsign sets a user's callsign to what is entered in this field. Leave the field blank for a user's global callsign to be used.
